Robert Woods Returns To Practice Thursday
1 year agoHouston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (foot) is returning to the practice field on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session. Woods was likely given a veteran's day of rest on Wednesday in the first practice of the week as the team prepares to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11 this Sunday. The 31-year-old wideout missed Weeks 7 and 8 with a foot injury before returning to last Sunday's upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Woods was targeted just three times in that game and caught one pass for 15 yards. Noah Brown (knee) could be in danger of sitting out this weekend, but even if he does, Woods is expected to have a minimal role alongside Nico Collins (calf) and rookie Tank Dell. Woods has had very little upside in 2023 with 23 receptions for 242 yards and one TD in seven games. UPDATE: Woods was a full-go in practice on Thursday.
