5/2:New York Mets pitcher Robert Gsellman started off the season hot in his newfound role in the bullpen, but as of late he’s cooled off a bit. Gsellman got rocked by the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, allowing four earned runs on four hits (two of them being home runs). Gsellman hasn’t pitched a clean inning in his last seven relief outings and has allowed multiple baserunners in all but one of them. For the year, his ERA now stands at 3.94 with 19 strikeouts and six walks across 16 innings pitched. Gsellman had been shaping up as a solid fantasy option in holds leagues, but right now he’s causing nothing but a WHIP headache for fantasy owners. You can likely safely cut bait in just about all leagues.--John Smith
