4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould is signing a two-year, $7.25 million fully guaranteed contract extension with the team on Wednesday, according to a source. Gould will now be tied to the team through the 2022 season. The 38-year-old kicker has been very reliable in his 16-year career, making 86.6 percent of his 462 career field-goal attempts with the Bears, 49ers and Giants. He's hit on 19 of his 23 field-goal tries for the Niners in 15 games this season while missing just two of his 38 extra points on the year. Gould should be back on the fantasy map when San Francisco is hopefully back to full health on offense in 2021, but he can't be relied on in a Week 17 matchup against the Seahawks with C.J. Beathard under center. Seattle's defense has really tightened up to close out the season, too, after being a door mat in the first half.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
