Rob Zastryzny Serving as Opener on Saturday
Rob Zastryzny is set to serve as the team's opener on Saturday at Citizens Bank Park versus the hosting Philadelphia Phillies, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Curt Hogg. It's expected that right-hander Chad Patrick will serve as the bulk reliever once Zastryzny comes out of the game after one or two frames. In his lone opening assignment of the year so far, the 33-year-old southpaw threw a scoreless inning with two strikeouts on May 19 against the Baltimore Orioles. Zastryzny will get a much tougher matchup this time around against the first-place Phillies and isn't a realistic streaming option for likely just one inning of work. In five total appearances this year in his second year in Milwaukee, he has thrown five scoreless innings with one walk and seven strikeouts.
