Rashod Bateman Has A Good Chance Of Playing
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that rookie Rashod Bateman (groin) is dealing with a minor injury and has a very good chance of playing in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings despite being listed as questionable on the final injury report. This is something to watch closely, as the first-rounder missed the first five games of the season with a groin injury, although this one doesn't appear to be nearly as serious. Bateman has some intriguing potential next to Marquise Brown in this offense, but the Ravens remain a run-first team, and veteran Sammy Watkins (thigh) could also be returning after missing the last two games. Bateman has seven receptions for 109 yards in his first two NFL games. Consider him a WR4/flex if he plays against Minnesota.
