Randy Arozarena Taking The Day Off Friday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. It appears to be just a normal day of rest, but fantasy managers need to remove him from their starting lineups. Arozarena hasn't been nearly as good as he was in the postseason last year, but he's been a quality five-category contributory in fantasy with a .253/.337/.406 slash line, 10 home runs, 52 runs, 40 RBI and 11 steals in 350 plate appearances. Brett Phillips is in right field and hitting ninth, while top prospect Wander Franco gets the start at third base and is hitting third against Blue Jays right-hander Alek Manoah. Manoah has been tough on the opposition of late, but Franco is an obvious upside play in daily formats, even if he hasn't impressed yet in his limited at-bats in the Show.
