6 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Jason Pominville scored two goals on Thursday against the Canadiens, giving him six points in three games since he was promoted to Buffalo's top line. The chemistry with new linemates Jack Eichel and Jeff Skinner is hard to ignore as the trio has scored seven goals in the last three games. Pominville started the season in fantasy obscurity, scoring one point in seven games and averaging only 10:03 minutes of time on ice, but has averaged 17:02 minutes of time on ice since moving to the top line and his point total has similarly skyrocketed.
