Phillip Lindsay Could Be Lead Back In Week 6
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (toe) practiced in full all week and will make his return in Week 6 against the Patriots after getting injured in the season-opener. Lindsay said he is 100 percent healthy, and he could be the lead back on Sunday with Melvin Gordon III battling an illness and also in danger of being suspended after being charged with a DUI earlier this week. If Gordon plays, Lindsay will be a low-upside RB3/flex in deep PPR leagues as he's eased back into the fold. But if Gordon is out, which is a definite possibility, Lindsay would suddenly have RB2 upside, especially if tight end Noah Fant (ankle) sits out.
