Phillies Acquire Dustin Peterson From Brewers
Dustin Peterson from the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations. Peterson has been assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The 27-year-old will give the Phillies a little more outfield depth with Odubel Herrera (oblique) and Mickey Moniak (hand) currently on the shelf. Peterson last played in the major leagues in 2019 with the Detroit Tigers, going 10-for-44 with no home runs and six RBI in 17 games played. He hit .272/.347/.416 with nine home runs, 56 RBI and 42 runs scored in 329 plate appearances over 77 games for Triple-A Nashville in the minors last year.
