3 years agoHouston Texans tight end Pharaoh Brown (thigh) is inactive for Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Brown was added to the Week 8 injury report on Thursday and missed Friday's practice. The 27-year-old has only 12 catches on his 18 targets for 114 yards in seven games (six starts) this year for Houston, but his absence should allow Jordan Akins to have a larger role in the passing game. The matchup is a tough one against the Rams defense, but the Texans will likely have to throw the ball often throughout the day in this one. Akins hasn't been much better than Brown in 2021, catching 14 passes for 124 yards on his 20 targets in seven games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
