Paul George Needs Just Three Quarters For A Good Line Monday
2 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Paul George played only three quarters in Monday's dominating 122-106 win over Houston, but he was still able to cook up a nice line for fantasy managers with 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. PG13 did the damage in 29 minutes of action, and this could've been a really spectacular night from him had the game stayed close. His numbers suffered a bit from poor shooting as well, with George going 7-for-18 from the field and 2-for-7 from downtown. Having gotten some time off, George should be fresh and ready to go Tuesday versus Dallas. It's a meeting against a defensively solid team that plays with a slower pace than Houston, so putting together a strong performance won't be quite as easy for George this time around. The next two matchups against the Pistons and Spurs, who are both among the bottom five in defensive efficiency, should suit him much better.
