Panthers Expected To Fire Scott Fitterer?
11 months agoCarolina Panthers owner David Tepper already fired head coach Frank Reich midway through the season and some of his assistant coaches, and many people now expect general manager Scott Fitterer to be next on the chopping block, according to league sources. Should he fire Fitterer, Tepper would then have a clean slate to offer a prospective head coach and new GM, although current assistant GM Dan Morgan has support within the organization. This team clearly has issues after trading its 2024 first-round pick to the Chicago Bears last year to draft quarterback Bryce Young first overall. Young has endured a difficult rookie season, and the Panthers are missing other offensive playmakers and have a shaky offensive line that needs rebuilding.
