The Florida Panthers have acquired forward Patric Hornqvist from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for defenseman Mike Matheson and forward Colton Sceviour on Thursday. Hornqvist totaled 17 goals, 15 assists and 32 points through 52 games for the Penguins during the 2019-20 season, marking the lowest total during his six-year tenure with the team due to the pause in the regular season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The 33-year-old has been a steady source of goal scoring production during his time in the NHL and will likely have a top-six forward role with the Panthers due to the pending free agents on the team, making the veteran a solid late-round option in deeper fantasy formats heading into the 2020-21 season.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
