Jordan Love Limited To Begin The Week
Jordan Love (knee) was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Love sprained his left knee in the Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil but returned in the Week 4 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday. Head coach Matt LaFleur said Love "did a really nice job" at practice and "it looks like he's just getting back into the groove." The 25-year-old went 32-for-54 for 389 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions against Minnesota in his first game back. He will start in Week 5 in a great matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend as long as he doesn't have a setback with his knee this week. Even with receiver Christian Watson (ankle) likely out this week, Love should be considered a must-start QB1 against a Rams defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks through four weeks.Source: SI.com - Bill Huber
Green Bay Packers quarterback Christian Watson Will Avoid Injured Reserve
Christian Watson (ankle) will avoid going on Injured Reserve, which would have cost him at least four games. Watson suffered a minor high-ankle sprain in the Week 4 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings and did not take part in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. The 25-year-old hasn't officially been ruled out for Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams, but that's expected to come later this week. It's still quite possible that the oft-injured Watson misses multiple games, which will mean bigger roles for Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks, who scored twice last Sunday against Minnesota. Wicks was a popular waiver-wire pickup this week with Watson likely to miss time. Tight end Tucker Kraft could also get more involved.Source: Packers Wire - Zach Kruse
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed on Wednesday that wide receiver Christian Watson "Unlikely" To Be Placed On Injured Reserve
Christian Watson (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Week 4 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but he is not expected to be placed on Injured Reserve, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report. High-ankle sprains can be tough to come back from quickly, but Watson reportedly has a mild case. Either way, he is likely to miss Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams. Dontayvion Wicks, who caught five of his 13 targets for 78 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4, is one of the top waiver wire options this week, as he'll see an enhanced role as long as Watson is sidelined. Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs could see slight boosts in their roles, too.Source: Jordan Schultz

Christian Watson Suffers A High-Ankle Sprain
Christian Watson (ankle) has officially been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain after leaving Sunday's game with what looked like an injury that could have been more. The good thing is that a fracture has been ruled out according to Ian Rapoport, but Watson could still land on the IR. Unfortunately, it's been a rough start to the season for Watson as he's registered eight targets, five receptions, 80 yards, and one touchdown. He'll now have to miss some time, which we'll likely hear about soon, and that will boost Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs' value in the meantime. Dontayvion Wicks, who caught two touchdowns in Week 4, will likely see added opportunities as well.Source: Ian Rapoport
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson Thought To Have Sprained Ankle

Romeo Doubs Puts Up Just 39 Receiving Yards In Packers’ Loss
Romeo Doubs earned eight targets in the Packers' narrow 31-29 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Despite Doubs' targeted involvement from returning starting quarterback Jordan Love, Doubs could only bring in four of those eight targets for 39 receiving yards. The Packers threw the ball a whopping 54 times and Doubs was on the field for 65-of-76 snaps per PFF's Nathan Jahnke, but Doubs could not find the end zone or provide some relief for fantasy managers that started him. The injury to Christian Watson (ankle) could condense some targets for the Packers if Watson misses time, but with the Packers heading west to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, Doubs is a middle-of-the-road flex option.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Tucker Kraft Totals 53 Yards, Touchdown In Packers’ Week 4 Loss
Tucker Kraft was plenty involved in the Packers' comeback bid that ultimately fell short as the Packers lost 31-29 in Week 4. Kraft's day was highlighted by nine targets, the second-most on the team next to Dontayvion Wicks. On the afternoon, Kraft hauled in six catches on those nine targets for 53 yards. Starting quarterback Jordan Love returned in Week 4 and found Kraft on a 13-yard strike in the fourth quarter, then found Kraft once again for the two-point conversion on the next play. Kraft's outing in Week 4 was very encouraging and coupled with Love's return, has his stock coming up in fantasy. The Green Bay Packers will meet the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, where Kraft should be considered a a high-end streaming option at a thin tight-end position for fantasy.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers tight end Jordan Love Racks Up 389 Yards, Four Touchdown Passes In Packers' Week 4 Loss
Jordan Love was active for the first time since Week 1 and got the start for the Packers as they fell short in their comeback bid against the Minnesota Vikings 31-29. Love was throwing the ball for most of the afternoon as he was 32-of-54 for 389 yards, with four touchdowns and three interceptions. Love also added six rushing yards as well as he was plenty busy in Week 4. After connecting with Jayden Reed for the Packers' first score to end the first half, Love threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to get the team to within two points. Love shook off some early rust in the first half to post an excellent fantasy day despite the three interceptions. The Packers head to Los Angeles with a good matchup against the Rams, where Love should be considered a fantasy QB1 in Week 5.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers quarterback Dontayvion Wicks Leads Packers With 13 Targets, Scores Twice In Week 4
Dontayvion Wicks was all over the field in the Packers' comeback bid against the Minnesota Vikings, where they fell short 31-29. The former Virginia product Wicks led the Packers in targets with 13 but was relatively inefficient with those opportunities as he hauled in just five receptions for 78 yards. Wicks also found paydirt twice with touchdowns from six yards out and a 17-yard strike from the returning Jordan Love to bring the game within two points in the fourth quarter. The Packers will head west as they will face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. For fantasy managers, Wicks would be a flex option if the first-quarter injury that knocked Christian Watson (ankle) out of the game causes him to miss time.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed Explodes For 141 Total Yards, Touchdown In Packers' Defeat
Jayden Reed was the Packers' most consistent yardage producer in Green Bay's comeback attempt against the Minnesota Vikings, falling short 31-29. On the afternoon, Reed led the Packers in receptions (7) and receiving yards (139) as the returning Jordan Love led the Packers with the passing game as he had a whopping 54 pass attempts in Week 4. Reed also found the end zone with the 15-yard strike from Love to kick off the scoring for the Packers. With only one rushing attempt on the afternoon, Reed earned just two yards. The Green Bay Packers head west in Week 5 as they head to Los Angeles for a late-afternoon matchup with the Rams. Reed should be considered a mid-range WR2 for fantasy purposes in that matchup.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Josh Jacobs Totals 78 Yards In Packers’ Narrow Loss
Josh Jacobs was a solid producer in the Packers' narrow loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Jacobs only received nine carries but made the most of them with 51 yards rushing as the Packers needed to employ the passing game for most of the second half. On six targets from the returning Jordan Love, Jacobs added four receptions for 27 yards on the afternoon. Jacobs' lack of rushing involvement can easily be attributed to the game script as the Packers were down 28-7 at halftime before putting up a furious comeback attempt. With the Packers heading to the Pacific Time Zone to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, fire up Jacobs as a low-end fantasy RB1 who should have much more involvement.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers running back Christian Watson Won't Return In Week 4
Christian Watson (ankle) has been downgraded to out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. He exited in the first quarter after a play in which quarterback Jordan Love was interception while throwing to Watson. The young receiver injured his ankle on the interception and corresponding tackle attempt. That was Watson's only target of the contest, so he finished Week 4 with zero catches for zero yards. It's a frustrating end to the weekend for Watson, whose value finally seemed to be trending up with Love back from his injury. Now, we'll wait for more information on Watson before assessing how much time he might miss. In his absence, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks should earn more targets behind Jayden Reed.Source: Tom Pelissero
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson Injured On Sunday
Christian Watson (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's NFC North clash with the Vikings. The wideout injured his ankle. However, he needed to be carted off, so his day could very well be over. If that's the case, Watson will finish without a catch (one target), with Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs potentially in line to see more attention from Jordan Love for the rest of the afternoon.Source: Ian Rapoport
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jaire Alexander Inactive For Packers In Week 4
Justin Jefferson and the returning Jordan Addison (ankle). With Alexander out, the Packers called up Kamal Hadden and Robert Rochell from the practice squad on Saturday. The Packers defense/special teams unit should be considered a borderline starting fantasy option in 12-team leagues this weekend against a Vikings team looking to start 4-0.Source: NFL.com - Jason B Hirschhorn
Green Bay Packers defensive backs Jaire Alexander (groin, quadriceps), Carrington Valentine (ankle) and Kitan Oladapo are all inactive for the big Week 4 divisional clash at Lambeau Field on Sunday versus the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. The biggest name here is Alexander, who came into this contest listed as questionable with multiple injuries that kept him out of practice on Friday. His absence is a big blow to the Packers as they look to try and slow down All-Pro wideout
