Packers D/ST Forces Two Turnovers In Week 8 Win
Trevor Lawrence on the afternoon. The team did get back into the turnover column after being shut out in Week 7 against the Texans. Safety Xavier McKinney notched his NFL-leading sixth interception on the season in the second quarter and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper forced a sack and forced fumble leading defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt to scoop up Lawrence's fumble. With the Detroit Lions coming into down fresh off of a 52-point effort against the Titans, it's probably a good idea to bench the Packers as your fantasy defense for Week 9.Source: ESPN
The Green Bay Packers' defense and special teams' unit produced two turnovers in their 30-27 victory on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Packers were decent, but not spectacular as the team could only muster one quarterback sack of Tucker Kraft With 78 Yards, Score In Packers’ Victory
Tucker Kraft was very productive for the Packers as they were victorious on the road over the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27. Kraft caught the only touchdown pass on the afternoon from Malik Willis, who entered the game following Jordan Love's exit with a groin injury. With 78 receiving yards, Kraft led the team on the receiving side in Week 8. The Packers' targets are typically spread out among many options, but Kraft has been a consistent contributor throughout the season for fantasy. With the Detroit Lions heading into town for a Week 9 NFC North showdown at the top of the division, consider Kraft a TE1 and as close to a must-start option as it gets at a weak tight end position.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers tight end Brandon McManus A Perfect 3-For-3 On Field Goal Attempts In Packers’ Win
Brandon McManus was perfect on the day as the Packers won in Jacksonville against the Jaguars 30-27. McManus nailed all three of his field goal attempts on the afternoon, nailing kicks from 31, 36, and 24. That 24-yarder was the game winner for the Packers as they got down deep into Jaguars' territory thanks to a 51-yard reception by Jayden Reed and a short run by Chris Brooks where he got into first-down territory inside the five-yard line but slowed down before scoring. McManus also was perfect on the day with his extra point attempts as McManus converted all three. The Packers will host the division-leading Detroit Lions in Week 9, where McManus is a solid kicking streamer in a healthy offensive environment.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers kicker Jordan Love Injures Groin, Questionable To Return In Week 8
Jordan Love (groin) exited during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is officially questionable to return. Love appeared to suffer the injury after attempting a pass. He was unable to shake off the injury and went to the ground, summoning attention from medical personnel. At the time of his departure, Love had completed 14 of 22 passes for 196 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. Malik Willis has taken over as the Packers' quarterback and will remain under center for the duration of Love's absence. Willis impressed during a two-game, turnover-free stretch of football between Weeks 2 and 3.Source: Mia O'Brien
Green Bay Packers quarterback Devonte Wyatt Suiting Up In Week 8
Source: Ian Rapoport
Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) will play in Week 8 according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Wyatt has been sidelined since Week 5 with an ankle injury but was able to log three limited practice sessions this week. Fantasy managers should expect Wyatt to return to his starting role on the defensive line going forward. During the first four games he tallied ten tackles (eight solo) with three sacks. The 26-year-old should bolster the Green Bay pass rush going forward.Quay Walker Sitting Out In Week 8
Source: Rob Demovsky
Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker (concussion) will not play in Week 8 when the Green Bay Packers face the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 24-year-old has been dealing with a concussion and was unable to pass through the league's protocol before the game. However, he was able to log two limited practice sessions on Thursday and Friday which suggests he may able to return next weekend. Through seven games this season, Walker has tallied 52 tackles (39 solo) and 1.5 sacks. As a result, Isaiah McDuffie should see an uptick in opportunities.Dontayvion Wicks Has Shaky Flex Appeal
Dontayvion Wicks has been a boom-or-bust option throughout this season. Last week, Wicks hauled in three of his six targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Houston Texans. It was a nice outing from the 23-year-old, but his value is going to be shaky going forward. Wicks falls to fourth on the pecking order with Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Christian Watson all healthy heading into the Week 8 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wicks should still be involved, but he might not see six targets again. Fantasy managers should view Wicks as a boom-or-bust flex option for Week 8.Source: ESPN

Consider Romeo Doubs A High-Floor WR3 In Matchup With Jaguars
Romeo Doubs has been the most productive Packers' pass-catcher over the last couple of games and he looks to keep that streak going in a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. Doubs has put together WR11 and WR13 performances in the last two weeks following a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team back in Week 5. Where the first game back in Week 6 was primarily reliant on his two touchdowns, Week 7's game was based on receiving volume as he led the team with 10 targets, eight receptions and 94 receiving yards. Doubs has pretty solid so far this season and against a pass-funnel defense in the Jaguars, he should be able to return WR3-level fantasy production with the upside for much more with the way he's played lately.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed Off Injury Report, A Low-End WR1 In Week 8
Jayden Reed (ankle) put in a full practice on Friday after two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday to be removed from the injury report for the Packers' Week 8 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Reed has been up and down this season and is coming off a down week where he only caught two passes for 10 yards on four targets. Luckily for Reed and the Packers, they'll get a true pass funnel defense in the Jaguars, where Reed should be able to carve them up. Reed has been used mostly in the short passing game at the line of scrimmage on most of his targets this season, but the hope is that some of the targets he'll receive are deeper, as he's been immensely successful downfield too. With Jordan Love dominating opposing defenses this season and Reed being his main target, fire up Reed as a low-end WR1 option with massive upside in Week 8.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Josh Jacobs More Of A Volume-Based RB2 Against Jaguars
Josh Jacobs is likely to get plenty of volume, but his upside may be capped a bit when Jacobs and Packers travel down to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 8. While the Jaguars' defense is susceptible through the air, they're a true pass funnel defense as they are 12th in defensive EPA allowed per rushing attempt. With Jacobs, he's relied a ton on volume rather than efficiency, as he's had just one top-12 finish amongst running backs this season. Jacobs enters Week 8 with just two touchdowns on the season and only one 100-yard game, so we're really relying on the touchdown here to make for a good week. While Jacobs has a very stable floor for fantasy managers, the ceiling hasn't been there this season, making him a volume-dependent RB2 option in Week 8 against the Jaguars with the hope that he scores.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers running back Jordan Love Set To Shine As A Top Quarterback Option In Week 8
Jordan Love has been a consistent force this season for the Packers, and he looks to keep his strong run going when he and the Packers travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 8. Love has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all five games he's played this season. The Jaguars have allowed the most touchdown passes (16) this season, so Love and this Jaguars defense could be a match made in heaven this week. With the sheet number of weapons at his disposal, Love should have little trouble producing fantasy value in Week 8. Consider Love a must-start QB1 in fantasy leagues in this matchup.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Consider The Packers D/ST A Strong Start Against Jaguars
Source: RotoBaller
The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams' unit should be plenty productive in their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. The Packers' D/ST has been a strong start all year, but disappointed against the Texans in Week 7, only forcing four sacks and not forcing a turnover for the first time all season. Prior to last week, the Packers had 5-of-6 weeks in the top-12 of fantasy defenses, so a return seems pretty likely against an aggressive Jaguars' offense that is no stranger to turning the ball over as they are bottom-seven in the league in turnover differential. Look for the Packers to return to prominence this week in fantasy circles as a quality defensive play that's worth of a start in your lineups in Week 8.Jayden Reed, Christian Watson Limited On Thursday
Jayden Reed (ankle) and Christian Watson (ankle) were both limited during Thursday's practice. Both players head into Week 8 with injuries, but luckily they aren't considered to be major issues. Reed has been reliable throughout most of the season, but is coming off his worst performance of the season. He should be able to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars secondary in Week 8. Watson has been quiet this season, but does have big-play ability. If active, Reed is a must-start while Watson is a desperation boom-or-bust choice.Source: Tom Silverstein
