5 days agoNew York Yankees catching prospect Agustin Ramirez launched three home runs and extended his hitting streak to three games. Over his past 13 games, Ramirez has been exceptional with a .321/.339/.607 line and 12 RBI. Through the early part of the season in his first extended look at Double-A, the 22-year-old has looked quite comfortable with a .282/.377/.585 line with 15 total long balls, 41 RBI, and a 28:38 BB:K ratio in 49 games. This is a significant improvement compared to his .211 AVG he held through 31 games with Double-A Somerset last summer. MLB Pipeline projects Ramirez to reach the majors in 2026, but with how well he is performing, a 2025 debut is not out of reach.Source: MiLB.com
5 days agoCincinnati Reds shortstop prospect Ricardo Cabrera posted his first four-hit game of the season on Friday and swiped his sixth and seventh bag of the season. The 19-year-old has performed very well in his first extended look at Single-A with a .286/.362/.473 line and with six long balls and 23 RBI in 48 games. The infielder logged five games at this level last summer after spending the majority of the time in the Rookie League. The number nine ranked prospect in the Cincinnati system has been especially impressive over his past 17 games, where he holds an excellent .319/.372/.551 line. He should remain closely monitored in dynasty leagues as he should be moved up to High-A in the coming months.Source: MiLB.com
5 days agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto turned in a quality start in a 2-1 win over the New York Yankees on Friday. Yamamoto tossed seven innings of shutout ball while allowing just two hits, striking out seven, and walking two but had to settle for a no-decision in the 11-inning game. Yamamoto has been excellent in his first season in MLB, posting a 6-2 record, 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 83 strikeouts across 72 innings of work. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, which is scheduled for Thursday at home against the Texas Rangers.Source: MLB.com
5 days agoNew York Yankees shortstop prospect Roderick Arias tallied three hits on Friday evening with a triple and a home run and brought home a career-high six runs. Arias has struggled through his first look at Single-A ball but has recently begun to string together strong performances. Over his past 17 games, the 19-year-old is riding a .260/.291/.425 line with 15 RBI and five swiped bags. However, overall on the season, the switch-hitter holds an underwhelming .218/.321/.359 line with 29 RBI and 14 stolen bases through 52 games. Arias is ranked as the number four prospect in the Yankee system on MLB Pipeline and is not projected to reach the majors until 2027. However, he could be worth stashing if not already in dynasty leagues once he reaches High-A.Source: MiLB.com
5 days agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Brice Turang had a big day at the plate in a 10-0 win over the Detroit Tigers on Friday. Turang went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base in the winning effort. The four-hit effort raises Turang's batting average to .303, to go along with 13 doubles, three homers, 28 runs, 23 RBI, and 22 stolen bases across 201 at-bats this season. Hitting .400 with three steals over his past seven games, Turang has emerged as an elite source of stolen bases in fantasy and should remain locked into fantasy lineups moving forward.Source: MLB.com

The veteran infielder hit both of his homers off Texas starter Michael Lorenzen, one in the second inning and another in the fourth. Flores is now hitting .224 with four homers, 16 runs, and 21 RBI across 156 at-bats this season. He has done most of his damage of late, hitting .280 with three homers and seven RBI over his past seven contests. Westburg went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in the winning effort. The 25-year-old's two-run homer in the eighth inning traveled 369 feet and had an exit velocity of 101 MPH. Westburg is now hitting .280 with 10 homers, 32 runs, 38 RBI, and six steals across 218 at-bats for the O's in 2024. His power production this season has been a pleasant surprise after he hit just three homers in 208 at-bats last season as a rookie. Westburg is worth a spot in starting lineups in deeper fantasy leagues moving forward.Source: MLB.com
5 days agoMiami Marlins outfielder Bryan De La Cruz picked up three hits in a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and a solo homer to help power Miami to the series-opening win over Cleveland. The 27-year-old outfielder blasted a 432-foot solo bomb off Cleveland starter Logan Allen in the third inning to give the Marlins their first run of the ballgame. De La Cruz is now hitting .252 with 11 homers, 30 runs, 28 RBI, and a steal across 246 at-bats this season. Well on his way to establishing a new career-high in homers (19), De La Cruz has been a nice source of cheap power this season.Source: MLB.com

Myers has now made eight appearances (seven starts) for the Brewers this season, posting a 2-2 record, 4.15 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 32 strikeouts over 34 2/3 innings of work. Wednesday's scheduled start against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park marks his next scheduled appearance, and Valdez belongs in all fantasy lineups.Source: MLB.com
