Miami Marlins catching prospect
Joe Mack has held his own during his first look at the Triple-A level. Mack was promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville earlier in April. Through his first 10 games at the top level of the minor leagues, Mack has posted a .270/.372/.486 slash line with two doubles and two home runs. He has held an 11:5 K:BB, tallied three RBI, and scored five runs. Earlier in the campaign, Mack held a .318/.464/.614 slash line at Double-A. Last season, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the Miami system posted a .241/.322/.456 line across 112 games at Double-A. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he could eventually earn a promotion to the majors later in the season. However, with
Agustin Ramirez now in Miami, Mack will likely only see a part-time role when he earns the call.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have promoted right-handed pitching prospect
Hunter Barco to Triple-A. Barco has enjoyed an incredible start to the 2025 campaign at the Double-A level and is being rewarded with an early-season promotion. Through 25 2/3 innings of work, Barco has not allowed a run and posted a stellar 0.70 WHIP. During this stretch, he has struck out 34 batters and served up just seven free passes. Last summer, Barco spent most of his time at High-A before earning a brief taste of Double-A. At High-A, the No. 7-ranked prospect in the system held a 3.34 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his progression at Triple-A, as Barco could eventually push for a second-half MLB debut if he is able to adjust well.

Athletics right-handed pitching prospect
Jack Perkins tossed four shutout innings in his season debut on Thursday at Triple-A Las Vegas. The right-hander struck out four batters and allowed three hits. He did not allow a run or a walk. Perkins has been sidelined through the opening month of the campaign due to an undisclosed injury. However, this was a strong debut for the No. 9-ranked prospect in the Athletics system. Last summer, Perkins spent most of his time at the Double-A level, where he logged 76 innings to the tune of a 2.96 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. During this stretch, he struck out 100 batters and served up 35 walks. Fantasy managers should expect the 25-year-old to spend a majority of the campaign at Triple-A, and he could be in the mix for a late-season MLB debut if he continues to show steady progression.

Cleveland Guardians outfield prospect
Chase DeLauter (abdomen) is set to begin a rehab assignment at the Arizona Complex League. DeLauter was added to the Arizona roster on Monday, and the team noted that he will slowly increase his workload there before being cleared to head to Triple-A for a rehab assignment. DeLauter has been sidelined since undergoing sports hernia surgery in March. However, it appears the 23-year-old is nearing a return to action. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status as he increases his workload. Last season, DeLauter battled numerous injuries as he appeared in just 39 total games. However, he was productive over this stint, posting a .261/.341/.500 slash line with eight home runs. If he progresses well, he should push for an MLB debut later this summer.

Jacob Wilson continued to impress at the plate during Monday evening's victory over the Seattle Mariners. In this game, Wilson went 3-for-6 with three RBI. He hit a game-tying RBI single in the 10th inning, which scored outfielder
JJ Bleday. Later in the 11th, Wilson would tally the game-winning RBI single, which scored first baseman/outfielder
Tyler Soderstrom. This was also Wilson's third-straight game tallying at least two hits. Over his last 10 contests, the former sixth overall pick has posted an impressive .366/.422/.439 slash line. However, during this stretch, he hit just one extra-base hit (a home run). Through his first 34 games this season, the rookie shortstop has continued to flash upside, posting a .341/.364/.452 slash line. He will look to stay hot on Tuesday, facing Seattle right-hander

Atlanta Braves first baseman
Matt Olson turned in a solid game in a 4-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to help power Atlanta to the win. The veteran infielder hit an inside-the-park home run in the third inning to give the Braves their final two runs of the contest. Overall, Olson is hitting .225 with six homers, 19 runs, and 18 RBI over 120 at-bats for the Braves this season. He is off to a bit of a slow start by his standards, but fantasy gamers should remain patient with the star corner infielder.

Dansby Swanson had a productive game in a 9-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Monday. Swanson went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs, and two RBI to help lift the Cubs to the win. The veteran shortstop got off to a slow start in 2025 but has come on strong of late, hitting .462 with three homers and five RBI over his past seven contests. Overall, he's hitting .232 with seven doubles, seven homers, 25 runs, 20 RBI, and four steals across 142 at-bats this season.

Willson Contreras had a big game in a 6-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. Contreras went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to help power the Cardinals to the victory. Trent Grisham went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in a 4-3 loss to the San Diego Padres on Monday. Grisham lifted his ninth homer of the season off New York starter
Nick Pivetta in the third inning to give his team an early 2-0 lead. The veteran is putting together a strong start to the season for the Yankees, hitting .298 with nine homers, 17 runs, and 17 RBI across 84 at-bats. Grisham will look to continue his early-season success after hitting just nine homers in 76 games for New York last season. He's worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues while he's having success at the plate.

New York Mets first baseman
Pete Alonso continued his early-season hot streak with a big game in a 5-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to help lead the Mets to the win. The veteran slugger gave the Mets a 2-1 lead with a two-run shot in the top of the fourth inning, a blast that traveled 425 feet with an exit velocity of 111.6 MPH. Alonso is now hitting .349 with nine homers, 26 runs, and 33 RBI across 129 at-bats this season as he stakes his claim as one of the premier power-hitting first basemen in all of fantasy.

Francisco Lindor had a big night in a 5-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Lindor went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to help power the Mets to the win. He blasted his seventh homer of the season in the seventh inning, a shot that traveled 415 feet with an exit velocity of 107 MPH. Lindor is now hitting .289 with 23 runs, 22 RBI, and three steals across 142 at-bats this season. He remains one of the better shortstops in all of fantasy.

Shea Langeliers had a big night in a 7-6 win in 11 innings over the Seattle Mariners on Monday. Langeliers went 1-for-3 with a homer, two walks, and two RBI in the close win. The veteran backstop ripped a solo homer in the fourth inning, a shot with an exit velocity of 109.8 MPH. He later came back and added a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. Langeliers is now hitting .226 with seven homers, 15 runs, 17 RBI, and one steal across 115 at-bats this season. His batting average is low but he is providing plenty of pop from the catcher position in fantasy this season.

Matthew Boyd picked up a quality start in a 9-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Monday. Boyd allowed two runs on five hits over six innings while striking out seven and not issuing any walks. The veteran southpaw only made one mistake in the form of a two-run homer to
Luis Matos in the fourth inning. Boyd is putting together an excellent first season with the Cubs, posting a 3-2 record, 2.75 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 37 strikeouts over 39 1/3 innings of work. He will look to keep it rolling in his next start, which will be Sunday against the New York Mets.

The veteran outfielder opened up the scoring when he launched a two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning and later came back to add a sacrifice fly in the sixth. Happ is now hitting .287 with three homers, 29 runs, 19 RBI, and one steal across 150 at-bats this season. The homers will come as Happ has four 20-homer seasons on his resume.
