The Detroit Lions said tight end Shane Zylstra (ankle) is questionable to return to the game Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The reserve came off the field with a bit of a limp after sustaining the injury, which could leave the Lions without a key special teamer. From a fantasy perspective, Zylstra is pretty far off the radar with starting tight end Sam LaPorta handling the vast majority of the receiving work.--Nick Piotrowicz

Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali (concussion) is being further evaluated after taking a blow to the head on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced. Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell is inactive again for Baltimore, so the team is temporarily down to just Derrick Henry and Justice Hill at running back. Ali, also a special teamer for the Ravens, is mostly on the back burner from a fantasy perspective due to a lack of carries behind Henry and quarterback in Lamar Jackson.--Nick Piotrowicz

The Cleveland Browns said wide receiver DeAndre Carter (concussion) left Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens to be evaluated in the locker room. The veteran does not have a target yet this season, as his primary role for Cleveland is to be a return man, so the Browns likely will have to look elsewhere if he misses any time. In any case, Carter doesn't hold much fantasy value outside of leagues of that have a designated kick returner spot.--Nick Piotrowicz

New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard will make his 2025 debut in Week 2 against the division-rival Buffalo Bills on Sunday after he was a healthy scratch in the season-opening loss last Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lazard might only be active because Josh Reynolds is out with a hamstring injury. Although it's notable for New York's passing attack, we wouldn't recommend the 29-year-old as a streaming option this weekend, even in deep fantasy leagues. Garrett Wilson will continue to draw the majority of aerial targets from quarterback Justin Fields. Lazard, who has struggled with drops in his two seasons with the Jets, will be competing for targets with Tyler Johnson mostly. Last year in New York, Lazard bounced back from a rough 2023 campaign to catch 37 passes for 530 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games (10 starts).--Keith Hernandez

According to CBS Sports, Cleveland Browns rookie second-round running back Quinshon Judkins will start in his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. Judkins may get the "start," but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport also reported on Sunday morning that the Browns plan to give Judkins backup touches -- around 10 to 15 in his first NFL game. Fantasy managers will be happy to get a look at the Ohio State product, but it would be a mistake to throw him into your starting lineup right away with the Browns easing him into their offense after he missed all of training camp, the preseason, and the Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Judkins should be Cleveland's RB1 by season's end, but it won't be right away, and he could also be facing a suspension of two to four games after a domestic-violence case over the summer.--Keith Hernandez

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jordan Watkins (coach's decision) and running back Jordan James (coach's decision) are both healthy scratches for Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. Watkins and James both missed last week's season opener, and even though they're healthy for Week 2, the rookies will watch Sunday's game from the sideline. Kendrick Bourne, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore will round out the wide receiver room behind Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall. Meanwhile, Isaac Guerendo will handle RB3 duties behind Christian McCaffrey and Brian Robinson Jr.--Andersen Pickard

The Philadelphia Eagles are "looking to get A.J. Brown involved more and early" on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. He noted that the Eagles had several plays dialed up for Brown to get more targets last week, but they didn't work out, and the star receiver finished Week 1 with just one reception. Based on Garafolo's comments, it appears that last week should be treated as an anomaly, and Brown will be more involved in Week 2. An increased target share could come naturally for Brown as the Eagles will be without Dallas Goedert (knee), who caught seven passes in the season opener.--Andersen Pickard

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell finds himself as a healthy inactive for the second straight week to open the season in Week 2 against the division-rival Cleveland Browns on Sunday. To begin the 2025 campaign, Mitchell has found himself as the team's RB4 behind Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, and Rasheen Ali. The 23-year-old has intriguing power and explosiveness, but he's had trouble staying on the field early in his career, playing only 13 games (two starts) since entering the league in 2023. He has averaged a healthy 6.9 yards per carry on his 62 rushing attempts with 426 yards and two touchdowns, but right now, he's off the fantasy radar altogether in redraft leagues. Mitchell's next chance to make his 2025 debut will be in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions on Monday, Sept. 22.--Keith Hernandez

Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin (eye, elbow) will not play in Week 2 against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens after he was listed as questionable on the final injury report on Friday. Conklin was a game-time decision for this one, but apparently, he wasn't feeling good enough during pre-game workouts. With the 31-year-old veteran sidelined, it will be a downgrade for Cleveland's offensive line at right tackle. Expect Cornelius Lucas to make the start in Conklin's place against a Ravens defense that got steamrolled in Week 1 by the Buffalo Bills. The Browns' offense isn't anywhere close to the level of Buffalo, though, so this could be a problem on the right edge for quarterback Joe Flacco and the running game on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez

New York Jets rookie tight end Mason Taylor (ankle) is officially active and will play on Sunday against the division-rival Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium. Taylor was listed as questionable on the final Week 2 injury report, but he will be available for the Jets and fantasy managers. The 21-year-old second-rounder played 88 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he only had one catch (on one target) for 20 yards, despite the team putting up 30 points. He'll be looking to increase his production against a Bills defense that just gave up 40 points to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, although Ravens tight end Mark Andrews only had one catch for five yards. Fantasy managers should consider Taylor more of a TE3 on Sunday in just his second NFL game.--Keith Hernandez

Buffalo Bills veteran wide receiver Curtis Samuel is once again a healthy inactive for Sunday's Week 2 divisional contest on the road against the New York Jets. Samuel was also a healthy scratch for the season-opening win over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday night. Right now, the 29-year-old is buried on Buffalo's receiver depth chart, thanks to the offseason additions of Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore. Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Tyrell Shavers are also ahead of him. Samuel should remain on the waiver wire in all fantasy formats for now. In his first year with Buffalo in 2024, he caught 31 of his 46 targets for 253 yards and only one touchdown in 14 regular-season games (two starts).--Keith Hernandez

Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright (knee), who was listed as doubtful on Friday's final injury report, is officially out for Sunday's Week 2 divisional clash against the New England Patriots. Wright had a minor surgery on his right knee in late August and was always expected to miss time early in the 2025 season. With a quick turnaround next Thursday night in another divisional tilt against the Buffalo Bills, Wright is probably going to be facing an uphill battle to make his season debut. When fully healthy, the explosive and fast Wright should operate as De'Von Achane's primary backup. Miami's offense looked terrible in the Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, giving rookie Ollie Gordon II limited opportunities to make noise behind Achane. Fantasy managers should not be starting Gordon against the Pats with Wright out again.--Keith Hernandez

New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Efton Chism III is once again a healthy scratch for Week 2 on Sunday versus the division-rival Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. Chism impressed the coaching staff in training camp and the preseason, but it wasn't enough to put him on the active game-day roster the first two weeks of 2025. The 23-year-old was an undrafted free agent and has more work to do to get on the field on Sundays in his first NFL season. For now, he's just a bench stash in deep dynasty/keeper fantasy leagues. At the moment, he's blocked by receivers Stefon Diggs, DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, and Kyle Williams. If an injury arises to any of New England's receivers, Chism will likely be the first to benefit.--Keith Hernandez

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His absence was widely expected; he missed all three practices this week and was listed as doubtful heading into the weekend. It's a crushing blow for the Seahawks' defense, especially as they prepare for a Steelers receiving corps led by old friend DK Metcalf. Cornerback Josh Jobe, who allowed just one catch on five targets in Week 1, will likely step up as Witherspoon's replacement on defense.--Andersen Pickard

San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the New Orleans Saints. He had been listed as questionable, and while there was some concern after he missed two practices this week, he was able to return in a limited capacity on Friday. Now, after testing his knee during pregame warmups Sunday, Williams is good to go. His presence will be key for the 49ers as he works to protect the backfield, as well as quarterback Mac Jones' blindside. Williams being active is refreshing for the 49ers and their fans, who haven't received very much good news on the injury front lately. Brandon Aiyuk (knee) opened the season on IR, and now George Kittle (hamstring) and Brock Purdy (shoulder) are both expected to miss time. This offense should run through Christian McCaffrey, which is one of many reasons why it's good for the 49ers that Williams is active.--Andersen Pickard
