San Francisco Giants outfielder
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBI in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Minnesota Twins. He also singled, hit a sac fly, walked, and was caught stealing. The 25-year-old has now homered twice in as many days and been very productive since the end of April. Across his last 13 outings, Ramos is batting a fantastic .418 (18-for-43) with four home runs, three doubles, nine RBI, and 11 runs scored. Incredibly, he's a perfect six-for-six in his last six at-bats dating back to Friday. The former first-round pick holds a 1.272 OPS in May. It's difficult to determine what, if anything, has changed, other than his increased contact while swinging in 2025 (84.5% zone contact). Still, fantasy managers should continue to fire him up while he's hot. Five of Ramos' last ten hits have gone for extra bases.

New York Yankees first baseman
Ben Rice came up in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and two outs and smacked his ninth home run of the 2025 campaign. The Yankees' offense enjoyed playing at Sutter Health Park this past series, scoring 10 or more runs in all three games. Rice continues his breakout campaign in 2025, now slashing .260/.368/.569 with nine home runs, 25 runs scored, and 20 RBI to go along with two stolen bases. Although he has cooled off a bit from his red-hot start, Rice remains batting at the top of one of the most potent lineups in the MLB and remains a strong start in all formats. Next for Rice and the Yankees is a three-game series in Seattle to take on the Mariners starting Monday.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder
Christian Yelich went deep on Sunday in the fourth inning against Tampa Bay Rays' right-hander
Drew Rasmussen to help propel the Brewers to a 4-2 victory and prevent getting swept in their three-game series with the Rays. In addition to the home run, Yelich finished his afternoon going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, one RBI, and a stolen base. The stolen base was his eighth of the season, as the home run was his seventh. Yelich has gotten off to a slow start to his 2025 campaign, slashing only .208/.303/.375; however, he is a career .285 hitter and hit .315 in 2024, so progression should be on the horizon for the 33-year-old veteran. Next up for the Brewers and Yelich is a three-game series in Cleveland to take on the Guardians.

Atlanta Braves left-hander
Chris Sale (1-3) was cruising through the Pittsburgh Pirates' offense until he gave up three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. He then proceeded to go out for the sixth inning and was pulled after getting two outs and left the game down 3-0. The Braves stormed back in the top of the eighth inning with three runs to get Sale off the hook for his fourth loss of the season. The Braves would eventually fall 4-3. Sale struck out eight batters, allowed two walks, eight hits, and two earned runs in his five 5 2/3 innings of work. Sale has lowered his season ERA to 3.97 after a tough start to the 2025 campaign. Sale has been racking up the strikeouts at an elite clip (12.08 K/9), and remains a must-start in all formats. Next is a trip to Fenway to take on the Boston Red Sox on Friday night.

Texas Rangers' young outfielder
Evan Carter had a nice afternoon on Sunday, as he went 2-for-5 with one run scored, one RBI, and a stolen base. The stolen base was his first of the season, and something to keep an eye on as Carter swiped 26 bases in the MiLB in 2023, and six in his 21 games played in Triple-A in 2025. Since getting promoted to the MLB on May 6, Carter has slashed .273/.273/.409 in 22 plate appearances. This is encouraging for Carter and those who own him in dynasty formats, as his rookie campaign showed much promise in 2023, when he slashed .306/.413/.645 in 75 plate appearances. 2024 was a different story (.188/.272/.361), and he started 2025 in Triple-A. Carter will look to continue his nice seven-day stretch as the Rangers head home to take on the Colorado Rockies in a three-game series.

New York Mets right-hander
Griffin Canning (5-1) was solid on Sunday against the Chicago Cubs. Although he walked away from this contest with a no-decision, he went six innings, allowed two hits, one run, and struck out five. His only blemish came on a
Pete Crow-Armstrong solo home run in the sixth inning that erased the Mets' 1-0 lead. Nonetheless, Canning continues his stellar season with the Mets, as he now owns an impressive 2.36 ERA in 2025 with 42 innings pitched, and a solid 9.00 K/9 with his new team. Next up for Canning is a tough matchup on the road in the Bronx to take on the New York Yankees. Fantasy Managers may want to plan for some regression with Canning down the stretch, but ride the hot streak that he's on thus far.

Houston Astros infield prospect
Shay Whitcomb posted his second-straight multi-hit game on Sunday against Triple-A Salt Lake. In this game, Whitcomb went 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base. Over his last nine contests, the No. 17-ranked prospect in the system has held a .316/.366/.553 slash line with three home runs, a 10:2 K:BB, and a stolen base. Whitcomb made his MLB debut last summer but only appeared in 20 games. During this brief taste, the 26-year-old held a .220/.304/.293 line with just three doubles. Through 38 games at Triple-A this season, Whitcomb has posted a solid .259/.341/.531 line with 13 doubles, nine round-trippers, and three swiped bags. Given his steady play at the top level of the minor leagues, Whitcomb should be in the mix to join Houston later this season.

Athletics right-handed pitching prospect
Luis Morales enjoyed his best start of the campaign, logging seven innings of one-run ball against Double-A Corpus Christi. In this outing, Morales allowed just two hits and struck out a season-high 11 batters. He served up just one walk. Through his first 36 1/3 innings of work at the Double-A level, the No. 4-ranked prospect in the system has posted a strong 2.97 ERA with a stellar 0.99 WHIP. He has struck out 45 batters and served up 14 free passes. Last season, the 22-year-old spent his campaign at the High-A level, where he logged 81 innings to the tune of a 4.22 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as it appears Morales could be in the mix to reach Triple-A later this season.

Pittsburgh Pirates right-handed pitching prospect
Mike Burrows struck out a season-high 11 batters across 4 2/3 innings of work during his start against Triple-A Columbus on Sunday. Burrows did not allow a run. He served up two walks and allowed four hits. The 25-year-old was promoted to the major leagues earlier this summer but was not given an opportunity to pitch. In 2024, Burrows made his MLB debut and logged just 3 1/3 innings to the tune of a 2.70 ERA. Through 27 1/3 innings of work at Triple-A Indianapolis this season, Burrows has posted a solid 2.63 ERA with a 1.06 WHIP. Across this stint, he struck out 36 batters and served up 10 walks. Given his steady performance at Triple-A, he should be in the mix to re-join Pittsburgh later this summer.

Colorado Rockies catching prospect
Cole Carrigg has begun to snap his power skid. Over his previous two contests, Carrigg has launched three long balls. On Sunday, he went deep twice. However, prior to this two-game surge, Carrigg did not go deep for seven games. Through the first 28 games of the Double-A campaign, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system and held a 282/.388/.563 slash line with four doubles, two triples, and seven home runs. Carrigg has swiped nine bags and held a 33:14 K:BB. Last season, the backstop spent most of his season with High-A, where he held a .280/.358/.475 line with 16 doubles and 16 home runs across 111 contests. Given his steady progression at Double-A, the San Diego State product could be in the mix to reach Triple-A later this summer.

Toronto Blue Jays right-handed pitching prospect
Juaron Watts-Brown allowed just two hits across six shutout frames on Sunday. In this outing, Watts-Brown struck out 10 batters. This was the third time this season that Watts-Brown hit double-digit strikeouts in a start. In addition, this was also a nice bounce-back outing for Watts-Brown as he allowed a season-high five runs in his last start on May 6 against High-A Spokane. Through 32 1/3 innings at High-A, Watts-Brown has struggled at times as he holds a 3.90 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP. However, he has flashed elite strikeout upside, tallying 54 over this stretch. Last summer, during his first 45 1/3 innings at High-A, Watts-Brown struck out 57 batters but held a higher 6.35 ERA. Given his lack of consistency, the 23-year-old will likely remain at High-A throughout most of the first half.

Chicago Cubs infield prospect
Jefferson Rojas went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI during their contest against High-A Fort Wayne. Rojas has enjoyed an impressive surge at the plate at High-A. Over his last 11 contests, the 20-year-old has posted a stellar .405/.458/.762 slash line with one double, one triple, four long balls, five stolen bases, and 15 RBI. Prior to this stretch, the No. 7-ranked prospect in the system held a modest .184/.311/.237 line through the first 10 games of the High-A regular season. Rojas spent most of the 2024 campaign with High-A South Bend and has continued to show growth through the opening month of the season. If Rojas continues to swing a hot bat, he should be in the mix to reach Double-A in the coming weeks.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are calling up top prospect infielder
Jordan Lawlar, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Lawlar, MLB Pipeline's No. 4 overall prospect, hit .336/.413/.579 with six homers and 13 steals in Triple-A this season. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said on Sunday that the team can find ways for Lawlar to get into the lineup, even with a seemingly stacked infield. The 22-year-old should get into around four games a week, which isn't ideal for fantasy but should be enough to not stunt his growth. Even with the diminished playing time, Lawlar is a must-add in all fantasy formats. He might not be startable right away, but if he hits well he will end up playing more often and could become a fantasy standout.

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher
Zack Wheeler shut down the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday, tossing seven shutout innings in a 3-0 victory. Wheeler only allowed three hits and two walks while striking out eight. It was the 34-year-old's fifth straight quality start, as he has once again been a consistent ace on the bump. He has a 4-1 record to go with a 2.95 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 74 strikeouts over 58 IP. Those numbers are some of the best in the game, and even in his mid-30's he is proving to be a stud in fantasy. His next start is scheduled for Saturday in a tasty matchup at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
