Kattar was outclassed from the opening bell to the end, and it looked like he couldn't pull the trigger. He even got knocked out in the third round, but Kattar, whose toughness is almost unmatched, managed to survive. In 15 minutes of action, Kattar landed 26 significant strikes. From the very beginning, Garcia put pressure on Kattar, scored a knockdown, pushed an aggressive pace, and outclassed Kattar en route to a unanimous decision win. In 15 minutes of action, Garcia landed a knockdown and 85 significant strikes. By defeating Kattar, Garcia has entered the UFC rankings. Nate Landwehr suffered a third-round knockout loss to Morgan Charriere on the main card of UFC Nashville on Saturday. It was a back-and-forth fight while it lasted, but in the end, Landwehr's agressive style didn't help him this time. In the third round, Landwehr came out throwing right hand but he got hurt by Charriere. Charriere kept on the pressure and kept on punishing Landwehr with heavy looping hooks, finishing the hometown fighter in the third round. In the third round, Landwehr came out aggressively but was hurt with a clean punch. Austen Lane suffered a first-round submission loss to Vitor Petrino on the main card of UFC Nashville on Saturday. Lane couldn't do much as he was quickly taken down and punished with ground and pound, threatened with submission attempts until Petrino locked in a rear-naked choke, forcing Lane to tap. Vitor Petrino was successful in his heavyweight debut as he was able to score a first-round submission win over Austen Lane on the main card of UFC Nashville on Saturday. Petrino wasted no time taking Lane down and punishing him with ground and pound. As Lane was trying to find a more comfortable position, he gave up his back, and Petrino punished him by finishing Lane via rear-naked choke. In 4:16 of action, Petrino landed a takedown, 17 total strikes and three significant strikes. With the win, Petrino has improved to 12-2 as a pro and is now 5-2 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic

On Saturday, Tuco Tokkos earned his first UFC win by defeating Junior Tafa via second-round submission on the UFC Nashville main-card opener. Not including Tafa's brief striking success in the second round, Tokkos was on point throughout this fight. He dictated the tempo of the fight with his wrestling and he took Tafa down multiple times before sinking in an arm-triangle choke to submit Tafa near the end of the second round. Junior Tafa was unsuccessful in his light heavyweight debut as he suffered a second-round submission loss to Tuco Tokkos on the UFC Nashville main card opener on Saturday. Tafa had some success with his striking in the second round. Still, Tokkos was the one dictating the action, completely outwrestling Tafa, taking him down time and time again and eventually submitting him with an arm-triangle choke. Undefeated Tallison Teixeira is set to face off against former title challenger Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC Nashville on Saturday. The 25-year-old Teixeira earned his UFC contract by knocking out Arthur Lopes in the first round on Dana White's Contender Series. He then made his UFC debut in his previous fight in February at UFC 312 with a first-round knockout of Justin Tafa, earning a 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
