Mason Crosby Announces Retirement
Mason Crosby officially announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday after a 17-year career. During Crosby's lengthy NFL career (all but one season with the Green Bay Packers), he was a Super Bowl champion, the Packers' all-time leading scorer and finished 11th all time in points in NFL history. The 40-year-old was originally a sixth-round selection by Green Bay in the 2007 NFL draft out of the University of Colorado. Despite his lengthy career, Crosby was never selected to a Pro Bowl or as an All-Pro. He finishes his career with an 81.3 success rate (400-for-492 on field goals) while making 97.2 percent of his 760 career extra-point attempts. Crosby went 44-for-80 on field goals of 50-plus yards in his career. He did not kick at all in 2024 and only played in three games in his final season in 2023 with the New York Giants.Source: 105.7 The Fan

Luke Getsy Expected To Return To Packers
Source: Rob Demovsky
Former Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Luke Getsy is expected to rejoin the Green Bay Packers in some capacity. Getsy has spent seven years with the Packers organization before leaving in 2022 to be the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator. He spent two years in Chicago before joining the Raiders as their OC this past season. It's uncertain what role Getsy would play in Green Bay, but he took on multiple roles during his time with the organization. He was the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator, so Getsy should be able to contribute to this offense in some capacity.Christian Watson Unlikely To Be Ready For Start Of 2025 Campaign
Christian Watson (knee) is not expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 season after suffering a torn ACL in the Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears. The 25-year-old has been plagued by the injury bug through the first three seasons of his NFL career, missing 13 regular-season games since being selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. His potential delayed start to next season comes as no surprise given the timing of the major injury, and the Packers could look to bring in more wide receiver options via free agency or the 2025 NFL Draft. It won't be a surprise if Watson starts next season on the PUP list, meaning he'd be forced to sit out at least the first four games.Source: Rob Demovksy
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Packers Claim No Disconnect With Jaire Alexander
Source: Rob Demovsky
Green Bay Packers defensive back Jaire Alexander (knee) rocked the boat a bit after he declined to talk with the media because he had nothing good to say after the team lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on wild-card weekend. Afterwards, there were rumors that Alexander and the Packers might split this offseason. The organization would save nearly $7 million by releasing Alexander. That doesn't seem like an impossible outcome given Alexander only played seven games this year and ended the season on Injured Reserve. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst downplayed the situation and said there is no disconnect between Alexander and the organization. For now, Alexander remains with the Packers, but he could cut later if the organization wants to save money down the road.Packers Hoping To Have Brandon McManus Back For 2025 Season
Brandon McManus back for the 2025 NFL season. The 33-year-old signed with Green Bay on October 16 and played in 11 games for the Packers. He connected on 20 of his 21 field goal attempts and all 30 of his extra-point tries during the regular season. The Super Bowl 50 champion with the Denver Broncos has hit on over 82% of his career field goal attempts and arguably had the best season of his career in 2024. McManus averaged 9.0 fantasy points per game this season, so he'll be on the fantasy radar next season if he re-signs with the Packers.Source: Rob Demovksy
Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said the team wants to bring kicker Jaire Alexander Unsure If He'll Be Back With Packers
Source: NBC 26 - Kelly Hallinan
Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) declined to speak to the media in the locker room on Sunday following the team's season-ending 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild-card round of the playoffs and said he didn't know if he'd be back with the team in 2025. The 27-year-old defensive back finished the year on Injured Reserve due to a knee injury and was limited to seven games during the regular season for the second straight year, his seventh in Green Bay. The Packers would save around $7 million against the 2025 salary cap if they were to cut him and could save $17 million if they designate Alexander as a post-June 1 cut. Given the fact that Alexander hasn't been able to stay on the field in recent seasons, there's a good chance he'll be let go. Alexander has been solid when healthy, but expecting him to stay healthy at this point as he nears 30 years old is a big question mark.Jayden Reed Doesn't Need Shoulder Surgery
Jayden Reed (shoulder) said on Monday that he will not need surgery on his shoulder after suffering a dislocation late in Sunday's 22-10 wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. "Thank God for that," Reed said. The 24-year-old slot receiver should be healed in time to take part in the team's offseason workouts this spring. Reed is one of Green Bay's best big-play threats through the air and on the ground, but he was inconsistent yet again as a fantasy commodity in the second half of the season and finished with a 55-857-6 receiving line on 75 targets through 17 regular-season games, adding 163 rushing yards and one TD on the ground on 20 carries. The former second-rounder finished as the WR26 in half-PPR scoring and will open his third season as a boom/bust WR3/flex option for fantasy managers.Source: Packers.com - Wes Hodkiewicz
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Josh Myers Believed To Have Hairline Leg Fracture
Source: Rob Demovsky
Green Bay Packers center Josh Myers (leg) exited his team's 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild-Card round and did not return. The former second-round pick was a victim of friendly fire, as fellow offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort was pushed into him, resulting in an injury to his leg. Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the team believes he's avoided an ACL injury, but there is still concern about a hairline fracture. That would be a best-case scenario for the 26-year-old, who is slated to enter free agency this offseason. Myers also noted that he sustained a torn pectoral muscle earlier in the year, though he never missed any time because of it. Green Bay will have some work to do in the coming months, as Telfort and tackle Andre Dillard will join Myers on the market in 2025.Romeo Doubs Suffers Concussion In Wild-Card Loss

Dontayvion Wicks Leads Packers In Targets In Playoff Loss
Dontayvion Wicks was consistently relied upon during the Packers' 22-10 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on Wild Card Weekend. Wicks was the top remaining receiver following injuries to Romeo Doubs (concussion) and Jayden Reed (shoulder) in the second half. Earning a team-high six targets on the afternoon, Wicks could only bring in two of those targets for 39 yards. He had an opportunity for a deep shot early but Jordan Love's throw ultimately was underthrown and the Eagles' Darius Slay made the interception early in the second quarter. Wicks' season was a bit of a rollercoaster with drops and inconsistent playing time, but he still led the Packers in targets (75) in 2024 to go along with 39 catches, 415 yards, and five touchdowns. For fantasy purposes, Wicks should be a late-round upside wide receiver.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Tucker Kraft Leads Packers In Receptions In Playoff Defeat
Tucker Kraft had a solid outing during the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Kraft caught all five of his targets from quarterback Jordan Love and parlayed them into 26 yards receiving. Also displaying some of the versatility from the end of the regular season, Kraft also took two direct snaps for 10 yards rushing. After a rookie season in 2023 that saw Kraft get some time on the field later in the year with an injury to Luke Musgrave, an early-season injury to Musgrave before Week 1 this season led to Kraft being a major contributor in the Packers offense in his second campaign. Kraft put up 50 receptions for 707 yards and seven touchdowns to finish as a top-10 fantasy tight end. For 2025 fantasy leagues, Kraft should be a starting tight end option in the majority of fantasy leagues.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers tight end Just Two Sacks For Packers D/ST In Playoff Defeat
A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to a combined five catches for 65 yards, they gave up two touchdowns to less-heralded Eagles players like Dallas Goedert and Jahan Dotson. The Packers did not force any turnovers and could only sack Jalen Hurts twice. The Packers have a lot of youth on their side and under the direction of defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, they're an upside D/ST unit for 2025 fantasy leagues.Source: ESPN
The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit were not very productive during the Packers' 22-10 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. The Packers had a tall task in defending the carousel of offensive weapons the Eagles throw out on a weekly basis, but in holding Jayden Reed Exits Due To Injury, Leads Packers With 43 Receiving Yards
Jayden Reed (shoulder) suffered an injury that caused him to leave the game during the tail end of the third quarter and not return for the rest of the Packers' 22-10 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. Reed took a hard hit after hauling in a 13-yard reception and was ruled questionable to return but ended up not playing another snap for the Packers in their loss. Before exiting the game, Reed caught all four targets for 46 yards which ended up leading the Packers in receiving yards on the afternoon. Reed's production hit a massive snag during the second half of the regular season, and it looked like the Packers were involving him more in the passing game before his untimely exit. Leading the Packers in receiving yards with 857, Reed also hauled in a team-leading 55 receptions in 2024. Reed should be a solid fantasy receiver with upside for 2025 fantasy leagues.Source: ESPN
