Packers Don't Have Much Clarity On Aaron Rodgers
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said the team doesn't have much more clarity on quarterback Aaron Rodgers' rib injury on Monday after he underwent some scans. "I know he's feeling better today. I think we'll know more in the next couple days," LaFleur said. X-rays on Rodgers' ribs on Sunday night weren't very clear, but they did rule out a punctured lung. The 38-year-old future Hall of Famer left the game in the third quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12 and didn't return, leaving his availability for Week 13 against the Chicago Bears in question. Rodgers is already playing with an avulsion fracture of his right thumb, but he said he plans to play this weekend if tests rule out any injury to his ribs. If he's not cleared, backup Jordan Love would get the start against Chicago. Stay tuned for more details on Rodgers' ribs.
