The Baltimore Orioles selected Tulane outfielder Hudson Haskin with the second pick of the second round (39th overall) in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. Haskin is a toolsy center fielder who was a 39th-round pick by the A's in 2018. He hit an impressive .372/.459/.647 as a freshman and played well over the summer. There is some length in his swing, but he makes consistent, hard contact and can get nice loft from his swing. The 6-foot-2 frame should beef up at the next level, but he's more of a contact bat that can grow into some power. Haskin broke George Springer's stolen base record in high school and has plus speed, but he's not all that aggressive on the base paths.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
