Obi Toppin Plays Well As Starter
12 months agoNew York Knicks power forward Obi Toppin didn't look out of place after taking Julius Randle's (ankle) spot in the starting unit Sunday against Miami. The third-year forward put up 18 points on 7-for-15 shooting and collected eight rebounds with one steal in 31 minutes. Toppin was mostly involved in the offense as a three-point shooter, going 4-for-11 from behind the arc. Randle's availability for Game 2 is currently unclear, but the Knicks will definitely try to do everything possible to have him on the court. Toppin should remain in the starting unit if Randle can't return.
