Obi Toppin Plays Well As Starter
2 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Obi Toppin didn't look out of place after taking Julius Randle's (ankle) spot in the starting unit Sunday against Miami. The third-year forward put up 18 points on 7-for-15 shooting and collected eight rebounds with one steal in 31 minutes. Toppin was mostly involved in the offense as a three-point shooter, going 4-for-11 from behind the arc. Randle's availability for Game 2 is currently unclear, but the Knicks will definitely try to do everything possible to have him on the court. Toppin should remain in the starting unit if Randle can't return.
