6 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (illness) is expected to make his scheduled start against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. Syndergaard has been battling strep throat this week, but expects to be fully recovered by Saturday. He comes into this contest with a 4.45 ERA and 88 strikeouts with 22 walks in 14 starts.
