Noah Fant Has A Tough Task In Week 5
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant will be facing a Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 5 that has allowed just over five fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. The good news, though, is that Fant should remain one of Denver's top targets with both wide receivers Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and KJ Hamler (knee) out. Fant had a season-low three targets in a Week 3 game where the Broncos didn't really need to pass at all. Otherwise, he's had at least six targets. Last week in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Fant had six catches on 10 targets for 46 yards and his second touchdown of the season. Albert Okwuegbunam injured his hamstring in practice this week and may not be able to play on Sunday, too, potentially opening up more work for Fant. Despite the tough matchup, Fant should be targeted enough to serve as a low-end TE1.
