Nathan Eovaldi's Next Start to be Pushed Back
Nathan Eovaldi's (triceps) next start back a few days. Eovaldi is scheduled to go next on Tuesday in Tampa against the Rays, but the team has a scheduled day off on Monday, allowing others to pitch on regular rest. The 35-year-old veteran will now most likely make his next start next weekend versus the Washington Nationals in a good matchup for fantasy managers. Eovaldi left his last start early last Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays due to triceps soreness. He'll certainly be more risky in fantasy lineups his next time out coming off the injury, but he's been excellent so far in 2025, not allowing more than three earned runs in any of his 12 starts. The two-time All-Star currently holds a pristine 1.56 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with 73 punchouts and only 10 walks in 69 1/3 innings pitched.
