Mitch Trubisky Has Dislocated Shoulder, Labrum Tear
5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky's (shoulder) initial MRI exam showed a dislocated left shoulder and slightly torn labrum, but he won't need surgery and should be back "sooner rather than later," according to a source. Trubisky will travel to London in Week 5 against the Raiders but is unlikely to play, especially with Chicago having their bye in Week 6. The good news is the injury is to Trubisky's non-throwing shoulder, so he might only wind up missing one game. Chase Daniel came in and was effective for the Bears against Minnesota, and he'll be a low-end QB2 with some upside if he makes the start against the Raiders across the pond.
