Mitch Haniger Stays Hot
6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger hit his 23rd home run of the season in the Mariners 7-1 win over the A's. It was his fifth home run of the month and Haniger is now slashing .351/.400/.588 with 12 doubles through 114 August at-bats. The All-Star has shaken off a .191 month of July and now is on pace to hit 27 home runs with 98 RBI. Look for the outfielder to stay hot on the road over the weekend due to the fact he is slashing .292/.365/.515 with 12 home runs and 21 RBI through 67 road games. Haniger's move to the leadoff spot also has allowed him to post the most runs scored (19) of any month this season. Haniger should continue to produce through the fantasy stretch run.
