Mitch Haniger Pops A Pair Of Home Runs
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger helped his team beat the Texas Rangers 10-9 in a downright offensive explosion by both teams on Thursday. Haniger managed to go 2-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI, two runs scored and three strikeouts in the exciting contest. He was the definition of boom and bust for fantasy managers, going deep twice but also striking out in his other three at-bats. The 31-year-old slugger snapped a 25-game streak without clearing the fences and is now hitting .239/.301/.405 with nine home runs, 31 RBI and 27 runs scored in just 205 at-bats for Seattle in 2022. He's closing out the final month of the regular season the right way, going 10-for-31 (.323) with two homers, eight RBI and six runs scored in his last eight games.
