Mike Freeman In For Jason Kipnis For Second Straight Game
6 years agoCleveland Indians infielder Mike Freeman is playing second base and batting sixth on Wednesday as second baseman Jason Kipnis continues to deal with a hip issue. Freeman has hit .171/.280/.256 in 153 career plate appearances over four seasons with five teams, which demonstrates that he is not viable for DFS despite hitting his second career home run on June 9. Other Indians near the top of the lineup, such as Francisco Lindor, Carlos Santana or Tyler Naquin, are better plays against Cincinnati Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani and his 4.85 ERA since the start of 2018.
