Mike Evans, Chris Godwin Will Play Versus Packers
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers Mike Evans (ankle) and Chris Godwin (hamstring) were taken off the final injury report and will play in Week 6 against the Packers. Evans hasn't been 100 percent for most of the year, but he hasn't missed a game and has scored in each of his five games. However, aside from two 100-yard contests, his yardage totals have left a lot to be desired. But his red-zone prowess in what should be a high-scoring game will make continue to give him WR1 upside. Godwin will return to the fold after missing the last two games. The 24-year-old must compete for targets with Evans, but he's caught 11 of 13 targets for 143 yards and a touchdown in his two games, and the Packers secondary isn't anything special. Consider Godwin a solid WR2 out of the slot in his return. Scotty Miller, who is questionable to play, is a shaky deep league flex with Godwin back after he wasn't targeted at all in Week 5.
