Miguel Rojas Leaves Monday's Game As A Precaution
4 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas left Monday's game early after being hit by a pitch. After the game, manager Don Mattingly said that removing Rojas from the game was done as a precaution as well as partly to get Jose Devers an at bat off the bench. The Marlins plan to see how Rojas is feeling tomorrow, but they are currently not expecting him to miss any time. Before leaving the game, he went 1-for-2 with a walk and a double, scoring two runs. He's tied for the team lead with a .282 batting average, and he's carrying a solid .805 OPS as well.
