By now, the fantasy community is well aware of New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom’s hyperextended right elbow. We’re still awaiting MRI results in order to get an idea as to how much time he’ll miss. However, deGrom felt pain in his right elbow during the bottom of the third inning on Wednesday and remained in the game prior to his removal after the fourth inning. When it’s the Mets, all injury situations need to be examined under a microscope. There should be deGrom updates by Thursday afternoon.--John Smith
