Max Muncy Plates Two Friday, Continues To Produce
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers corner infielder Max Muncy contributed to the Dodgers slugfest on Friday against the Braves, going 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and two RBI. Muncy's HR was one of five hit by the Dodgers in the 7-3 win. Muncy has performed well this season, posting a .262/.368/.566 slash line with 10 HRs and 25 RBI in 144 plate appearances. Between Cody Bellinger's season struggles, Justin Turner's nagging wrist injury and Muncy's performance at the plate, the 27-year-old should continue to find his way into the Dodgers lineup. He is worth a roster spot as a corner infielder in deeper leagues and even in deeper daily leagues as a first or third baseman.
