Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies is good to go for Thursday's contest against the New York Islanders after suffering a lower-body injury in practice on Wednesday. The rookie skated as part of the Maple Leafs' optional skate on Thursday morning and declared himself good to go afterward. Knies has been deployed in a key role on the Leafs' top line alongside Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner this season, registering eight goals and 15 points across 36 games. However, he has just one goal and two points across his last 10 games after snapping a five-game pointless drought with an assist in a 7-1 win over the San Jose Sharks his last time out.
