Matt Olson Doubles During Two-Hit Day
2 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson broke out of a slump in the 5-2 win over the Washington Nationals on Monday by going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Olson entered Monday's game hitting just .074 (4-for-54) with a home run, four RBI, six runs scored and 20 strikeouts in 15 games in the month of September, so his two-hit day was a welcomed sight for his fantasy managers. Overall, the 28-year-old left-handed slugger is slashing .234/.319/.456 with 28 home runs, 91 RBI and 75 runs scored in 561 at-bats in his first year in Atlanta while trying to replace Freddie Freeman at first base. Olson's fantasy managers will be hoping he can get on a run over the final weeks of the regular season.
