Paul George to Meet With Doctors, Could be Nearing a Return
Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George (knee) will remain out for Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors and Sunday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. He hasn't played this season, as he continues to work his way back from knee surgery. Fortunately, it appears things may be moving in a positive direction, with the multi-time All-Star scheduled to meet with doctors this weekend. Assuming all goes well, it may be the "final hurdle" that needs to be cleared before the team finally gets a clear update on his return to the court. George has been practicing in full in the last two weeks, although fantasy managers will feel better once a firm return date has been set. With that said, the 35-year-old could be limited for at least a week or two upon his return. However, once George and Joel Embiid (knee) are fully healthy, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe might see a decline in statistical contributions.
