6/14:Oakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Astros. Olson launched a hanging curveball from Justin Verlander over the right field wall in the seventh inning. The blast was his fifth HR this month. The 24-year-old has gotten things going after a slow start and now has a .242 batting average with 14 HRs and 34 RBI in 278 plate appearances on the season. Olson will look to keep things going in the next series against the Angels, whose pitching staff has allowed the 10th most HRs this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
