Joe Gibbs Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. held off a charge from Kyle Busch to take checkers at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. It's MTJ's second straight win at the road course in California, and third victory in five seasons. NASCAR's top series changed back to the original 2.52-mile layout for the first time since 1997, but it didn't do anything to set Truex back. The win is the fourth of the season for Truex, and the 23rd of his MENCS career. Next up is a visit to Chicagoland where Truex has two wins in 13 Cup starts with an Average-Finish Position of 13.0.--Daniel DobishRead More News
