Marco Gonzales Returns From Paternity List
Marco Gonzales from the paternity list on Wednesday. Gonzales is expected to return to the starting rotation to face the Texas Rangers at home this weekend. The 29-year-old southpaw has a 5.10 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 42/18 K/BB in nine starts covering 47 2/3 innings this year, but he's coming off a quality start against the Tampa Bay Rays on June 20 when he allowed two runs on five hits while striking out a season-high six batters in 6 1/3 innings. Gonzales has a decent 3.97 ERA with 11 strikeouts and five walks in 11 1/3 innings over his last two starts against the Rays and Minnesota Twins, so he'll be in play as a streaming option this weekend against Texas.
