10/4:Detroit Pistons guard/forward Luke Kennard came off the bench during Wednesday's win over OKC. The sophomore played only 18 minutes and scored just five points on a shoddy 2-for-7 from the field and 1-for-4 from beyond the arc. Kennard was inconsistent in his first season in the league, finishing up the year averaging only 7.6 points per game. However, he will be in the running to challenge for a spot in the starting five, and with coach Dwane Casey encouraging his squad to throw up some shots, Kennard may be able to get it going this season, especially from deep.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
