1 year agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Logan Morrison went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo homer, and two runs scored in his team's 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. Morrison launched what was his ninth homer of the season in the seventh inning to give the Twins a 1-0 lead. The veteran slugger got off to a painfully slow start this season but has improved slowly as the season has gone on. He is now batting .191 with a .650 OPS, nine homers, 29 runs, and 28 RBI this season. He is worth keeping an eye on as a prospective waiver add if he starts to heat up.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
