Lions Add Kicker Randy Bullock
4 years agoThe Detroit Lions finalized an undisclosed deal with veteran kicker Randy Bullock on Thursday, according to a source. The Lions moved quickly to replace Matt Prater, who ended up signing with the Arizona Cardinals. Bullock spent parts of the last five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and has played for four other teams in his nine-year career. The 31-year-old has made 85 percent of his field goals with the Bengals, but he was just 50 percent from 50-plus yards. Bullock is expected to compete with Matthew Wright, who was signed to a futures deal earlier this offseason. Wright went 4-for-4 on field goals and made all seven of his extra points in a brief cameo with the Pittsburgh Steelers last year. Bullock will be off the fantasy radar to begin the 2021 season.
