Kyrie Irving Scores Over 20 Points In Third Straight Game Saturday
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving took somewhat of a back seat to teammate Gordon Hayward's offensive explosion off the bench Saturday, but was able to produce in the win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Irving put up 21 points on 6-for-15 shooting while adding nine assists, three rebounds and two three-pointers in 35 minutes. Irving continues to trend in the right direction after a slow start to the season, but the combined zero steals over his past two contests hurt his value a little. Irving will look to stay sharp defensively when the Celtics take on the New York Knicks in their next contest who rank 15th in turnovers committed per game this season.
