Kyler Murray Unlikely To Be Ready For 2023 Season
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) had surgery to fix his torn right ACL on Tuesday, and on Wednesday head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that Murray "probably" won't be ready for the start of the 2023 season. In addition to the ACL repair, Murray needed a meniscus repair. After another disappointing season for the Cardinals in his fourth year in the NFL, the two-time Pro Bowler won't be afforded a normal offseason as he recovers from a major knee injury. Murray was missing top wideout DeAndre Hopkins for the first six games of the season and finished with a 66.4% completion percentage, a career-low 2,368 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 11 starts. He also had 67 carries for 418 yards and three scores on the ground. Given the fact that Murray may not be ready for the start of next season, his fantasy value will obviously take a pretty big hit.
