Kyler Murray Should Be More Efficient In Second Season
4 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and the offense have been practicing at warp speed in training camp. The up-tempo offense should force defensive coordinators to use vanilla schemes, which should allow Murray to play in attack mode while easily identifying and exploiting basic blitzes and coverage. In turn, it should make the 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year more efficient. It also helps that he'll have All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins as his new No. 1 receiver. Murray threw for over 3,700 yards and ran for over 500 yards in his rookie season behind a porous offensive line. In just his second season, the 23-year-old is a top-five fantasy QB in head coach Kliff Kingsbury's up-tempo and aggressive offense.
