Kyler Murray Anxious To Work With Receivers
5 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterbacks Brett Hundley and Chris Streveler are building chemistry with wide receivers Christian Kirk, Trent Sherfield and others, but quarterback Kyler Murray remains in Dallas. Larry Fitzgerald said they are trying to work out the logistics to convene before training camp and that Murray "is anxious to get with his teammates." "Talking to him, he loves being around us," Fitzgerald said. "He wants to take this to the next level and build on what he was able to accomplish last year, NFL Rookie of the Year." The addition of All-Pro wideout DeAndre Hopkins this year makes Arizona's offense pretty dangerous. Murray, just 22, is expected to take a big second-year leap with the kind of weapons he has in Kliff Kingsbury's aggressive offense. He'll have high-end QB1 upside as a sophomore.
