Kyle Pitts 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Dealing with Foot Injury, Remains Fourth-Best Option in Atlanta's Offense
Kyle Pitts (foot) continues to be the bane of fantasy football managers who are duped into drafting him at his ADP. His rookie season, largely driven by the oft-disrespected late-career quarterback Matt Ryan, has yet to be replicated. Instead, Pitts has found new ways to disappoint every season. The 24-year-old hasn't lived up to his name value from a lack of separation ability, poor contested-catch skills, and inexplicable and costly drops. Atlanta has better options to get the ball to, like wide receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney, and running back Bijan Robinson. Pitts is the fourth option in this offense. At some point, it's better to stop making excuses for players for their lack of production. The three years of Pitts we've seen after his rookie season should be more in line with what we expect from him, so he's an easy fade in most fantasy football leagues. Pitts is also dealing with a foot injury, and the Falcons are being extra cautious with their starting tight end. Someone will inevitably pick him too high, and he's currently TE15 in the latest RotoBaller rankings, but that ranking could drop if his foot injury continues to linger.
