10 months agoToronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry stretched his league lead in assists even higher after a 15-assist performance against the Lakers on Sunday. Lowry is now averaging 11.6 assists per game despite never averaging more than 7.4 per game coming into this season. But the addition of Kawhi Leonard and subtraction of DeMar DeRozan have done wonders for Lowry's passing game. He's also scoring 18 points per game, and on Sunday he added 21 of them in the victory. The Raptors play a Utah team on Monday who allow the fourth-fewest assists per game, but with Lowry riding a streak of eight consecutive games with 10 or more assists, he might be matchup proof at this point.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
