Winnipeg Jets left-winger Kyle Connor had gone three straight games without a point. Some expected that to continue in Calgary on Saturday night. Early on, the Flames jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead. Then, Connor responded firmly with a late first-period tally that turned the entire game around. The left-wing sniper then struck again with less than five minutes left in regulation to give Winnipeg a 3-2 lead they never relinquished. Connor along with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler looked like the trio they did last year for this night. The left-winger now has 14 goals in 21 games. A 40-goal season is very possible for Connor. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
